Edna Smith, pictured far right in a family photo, has been in the Insurance Industry over 37 years.

She has assisted American Family Insurance Agents in Indiana for almost 6 years until joining The Patrick O’Brien Agency team April 2014.

Edna met her Husband, a marine, in Memphis, TN while she was attending business school.  After moving to her Husband’s hometown of Detroit, Michigan, she began working in the Insurance Industry when her two children started school.  After many years with the company, she was transferred to Indiana in 1997.

Married almost 52 years, Edna enjoys going out to dinner and watching a good movie at home with her Husband.

Edna is very close to her family, especially her wonderful grandchildren and visits them in Michigan at every opportunity.

Her biggest hobby is flower gardening.  She says, “The flowers are my summer passion”. She loves flowers and has them throughout her home.  The flowers are the most beautiful in the summer, she says, and she dedicates her summer to them.

As our Licensed Client Relationship Manager, Edna is often our customers’ first point of contact when they call into the office.
